This Privacy Policy explains how DL Infosoft ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects your information when you use the IPO Live mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.


1. Information we collect


a) Information you provide

• Profile details – first and last name, year of birth, contact number and, if you choose, a profile photo.

• Investment preferences – approximate annual income, preferred sectors, investment experience and investment goals, used to personalise IPO alerts and insights.

• Your activity – IPO ratings, listing-day predictions, bookmarks (watchlist), discussion posts, likes and reports, and feedback you send us.


b) Information collected automatically

• Device information – a device identifier, device model, operating system and app version, used to create and secure your account.

• Push notification token – issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send the IPO alerts you have enabled.

• Usage analytics – screens viewed and features used, collected through Google Firebase Analytics in aggregated form to improve the App.


c) Camera and photos

The App asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to set a profile picture. Only the image you select is uploaded; we do not access any other photos.


2. How we use your information

• To create, maintain and secure your account.

• To show IPO details, insights and personalised alerts for your preferred sectors.

• To display your discussion posts, ratings and predictions to other users.

• To send push notifications you have opted into.

• To understand app usage, fix problems and improve features.

• To respond to your feedback and support requests.

• To prevent misuse, enforce our Terms & Conditions and meet legal obligations.


We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.


3. Sharing of information

We share information only with:

• Service providers that help us run the App, such as Google Firebase (analytics and push notifications) and our hosting provider. They process data only on our instructions.

• Other users – your display name, profile photo and discussion posts are visible to other users of the discussion feature.

• Authorities – when required by law, court order or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or the public.


4. Third-party content

IPO news, market prices and similar data are sourced from third parties. Links that open external websites are governed by those websites' own privacy policies.


5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile and preferences are removed within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.


6. Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.


7. Your rights and choices

• Access and correction – view and edit your details under Profile Settings.

• Notifications – change alert types under Notification Preferences, or turn notifications off in your device settings.

• Deletion – delete your account from Profile > Delete Account, or email us.

• Withdraw consent – you may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account or contacting us; this does not affect processing already carried out.


8. Children's privacy

The App is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.


9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
